Charm City Tutors Inc. was started by two mathematics PhD students at the Johns Hopkins University.  Their clear teaching style has garnered high praise from students and colleagues alike and has earned the two numerous teaching awards.  However, they both felt that they were not using their talents to their fullest potential.  Thus, Charm City Tutors Inc. was born.

Our goal is simple: to educate the student while sparking intellectual curiosity.  Our wish is to make the material clearer, the difficulties easier, and the subject more enjoyable.  We began tutoring various students at the high school level, combining our passion for mathematics with our desire to teach.  We then began expanding into other related subjects, all the while staying dedicated to our desire to reach a wide range of students. 

Now, Charm City Tutors Inc. has over a dozen instructors for all grade levels, specializing in a wide spectrum of subjects, ranging from mathematics and biology to English and foreign languages.  Here are the subjects we currently tutor, with more constantly being added.  If you don't see your desired course, please contact us and we will try to accommodate to your needs. 

At Charm City Tutors Inc., we employ only the most qualified educators.  Our entire staff is comprised totally of college graduates, most seeking advanced degrees, and all whom have a mastery of their subject matter.  Each tutor is highly fluent in his or her subject with a passion to teach, which makes the learning process more enjoyable.  An enthusiastic instructor enjoys elucidating difficult material and encourages tough questions.  This means the student gets the highest level of instruction, which in turn leads to the highest level of understanding. 

In other programs, groups of as many as ten students are made to learn with just one instructor.  We at Charm City Tutors Inc. believe that the best way to learn is in a pressure-free environment, one-on-one with a tutor willing to answer any and all questions in a constructive way.  We unconditionally guarantee an intimate learning environment where the student has the full attention of the tutor.
